Chris Bangle, the revolutionary car designer, has taken on a new challenge at the request of the Swarovski house. The result of their two-year collaboration is a surprising line of crystals that question our logic through a complex game of mirroring and reflecting.
In order to explore the opportunities of this line called Illusions, the Swarovski house has called upon three designers, including the Parisian parurier Philippe Ferrandis. These collaborations have been unveiled last month in Milan, during an outstanding event organized around the designers.
In his interpretation, Philippe Ferrandis has chosen to pursue the deconstruction phenomenon. Spilled rods, dislocated frames, falsely wavering balance, the jewels seem be unraveling on the skin. Futuristic and graphic, these jewels will be integrated to the Philippe Ferrandis Fall / Winter collection.
The design featured here is adorned with crystals from Swarovski -Tilted Chaton Fancy Stone/ Tilted Spike Fancy Stone/ Tilted Dice Fancy Stone designed by Chris Bangle.
